The Ethiopian IT Park had the honor of hosting H.E. NGUYEN Minh Hang, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, along with her delegation. The visit focused on exploring investment and collaboration opportunities between Ethiopia and Vietnam in the ICT sector, reinforcing the growing partnership between the two nations. A key highlight of the visit was the pioneering partnership between Vietnam’s MK Group and Ethiopia’s Neuronet, which jointly developed the core technology for Smart Cards within the IT Park. This initiative has already created career opportunities for over 100 young graduates and successfully produced the first one million Fayida (National ID), contributing to Ethiopia’s digital transformation and foreign currency savings. The Ethiopian IT Park remains committed to fostering international partnerships that drive technological innovation and economic growth.
